Doryopteris angelica is a rare species of fern known by the common name Kauai digit fern. It is endemic to Hawaii where it is known only from the island of Kauaʻi.[1] There are only small populations known.[2] It was federally listed as an endangered species in 2010.[3]

Doryopteris angelica is closely related to Doryopteris decora and was first described as a separate species in 1999.[4] It grows on slopes in moist forest habitat.
